Banyan Gold Corp. closed gross proceeds of $54.313 million through a brokered financing and concurrent private placement at $2.00 per share. Franco-Nevada subscribed for 10 million shares. Christie explains how the strengthened treasury is intended to support drilling, engineering and permitting at AurMac and Nitra through 2028 and allow Banyan to plan a larger 2027 drill program.
AurMac’s current Mineral Resource Estimate contains 3.639 million indicated ounces of gold at 0.68 g/t and 4.985 million inferred ounces at 0.58 g/t. Christie explains the focus on higher-grade domains, improving the early grade and production profile and advancing the first AurMac PEA, targeted by the company for Q4 2026.
