  • Agnico Eagle invests in Radisson Mining. Agnico Eagle Mines (NYSE: AEM; TSX: AEM) said it agreed to buy 53,420,000 units of Radisson Mining Resources (TSXV: RDS) at C$1.07 per unit, for total consideration of C$57,159,400. Each unit includes one common share and one-half of a warrant. Subject to closing conditions including TSX Venture Exchange approval, the transaction is expected to close on or about Sept. 2; Agnico Eagle said its expected ownership would be about 10.45% on a non-diluted basis and 14.90% on a partially diluted basis.   • IsoEnergy signs Saskatchewan exploration agreement. IsoEnergy (NYSE American: ISOU; TSX: ISO) announced an Exploration Agreement with Kineepik Métis Local Inc., which represents Métis rights holders in the Kineepik Use and Occupancy Area, including members and residents of Pinehouse, Saskatchewan. The agreement establishes a framework for engagement, information sharing and collaboration, and provides for participation by Kineepik community members and businesses through employment, training and business opportunities.   • Hot Chili reports wide La Verde copper-gold intervals. Hot Chili (ASX: HCH; TSXV: HCH; OTCQX: HHLKF) reported further drilling from its La Verde porphyry discovery in Chile. The company reported 472 metres grading 0.41% copper equivalent from 49 metres in hole DKD060, including 105.8 metres at 0.70% copper equivalent; 182 metres at 0.50% copper equivalent from 24 metres in DKP058; and 272 metres at 0.40% copper equivalent from 82 metres in DKP052. Hot Chili said assays remain pending for 18 holes and that a fourth rig had been added.   • Volcanic Gold secures rights tied to a Guatemalan antimony mine. Volcanic Gold Mines (TSXV: VG) said it secured a Right of First Offer and Right of First Refusal to acquire an interest in the fully permitted Los Angeles antimony mine in Palencia, Guatemala. The company is providing geological and sampling support to a planned 1,000-metre drill program. Volcanic reported that 61 channel samples across the 200-metre open-pit face produced an overall weighted average of 1.6 metres at 5.0% antimony and 17.1 g/t silver; five of 11 completed diamond holes intercepted antimony mineralization, with assays pending.   • Endeavour Silver says Terronera blockade was removed. Endeavour Silver (NYSE: EXK; TSX: EDR) reported that a blockade affecting its Terronera Mine in Mexico had been removed and that operations would resume on Aug. 24.   • Asante Gold receives more time on financing milestones. Asante Gold (TSXV: ASE; GSE: ASG; OTCQX: ASGOF) said its senior lenders and hedge counterparties agreed to extend two previously disclosed deadlines under its Senior Facilities Agreement to Sept. 30. The deadlines had included securing at least US$100 million of new funding by Aug. 31 and delivering a cost-to-complete certificate by Aug. 20. Asante said the extension allows additional financing discussions, while cautioning that there is no assurance about the structure, timing or terms of any future financing. Investors following the resource sector may want to monitor Radisson’s proposed financing close, pending assays at La Verde and Los Angeles, the practical restart of Terronera operations, and Asante’s financing discussions.
