Jon Gilligan, President, CEO and Director of Liberty Gold Corp., joins Andy Millette to discuss the Black Pine Oxide Gold Project in southern Idaho and the company's transition from feasibility into detailed engineering, permitting and execution planning.

Liberty Gold released the 2026 Black Pine Feasibility Study on September 8. The study outlines a 4.04 million ounce Probable Mineral Reserve, a 16-year mine life, average annual payable gold production of 202,000 ounces in Years 1 through 5 and estimated initial capital of US$411.4 million. The development case is based on a conventional open-pit, run-of-mine heap-leach operation.

Gilligan explains what changes from pre-feasibility to feasibility, why feasibility is still a waypoint rather than the end of the engineering process, and how the 2026 drilling program feeds future resource modeling and mine planning. He also discusses bulk sample column tests, drill results from the first 25,000 metres completed this year, permitting milestones, detailed engineering and early procurement of long-lead equipment.

The interview also covers Liberty Gold's addition to the MVIS Global Junior Gold Miners Index, effective September 18 2026. The index is the underlying benchmark for the VanEck Junior Gold Miners ETF GDXJ. Gilligan discusses the trading-liquidity criteria behind index inclusion.

Looking ahead, Gilligan says Liberty Gold is working toward a construction decision by the end of 2027 while Black Pine continues through federal and state permitting. He outlines engineering, procurement, long-lead equipment, staffing, early works planning and site preparation that must occur before that decision.

Andy discloses that he is a Liberty Gold shareholder and that Liberty Gold sponsors Natural Resource Stocks. Viewers should conduct their own due diligence.
