Steve Yang sits down with Gregory Crowe, President and CEO and Director of Silver One Resources Inc., for an update on the Candelaria Project in Nevada and Phoenix Silver Project in Arizona.
At Candelaria, Crowe discusses the first assay results from Silver One’s 2026 drilling campaign. The company reported that drill hole SOC26-196A extended mineralization roughly 400 metres down dip from the nearest hole used in the 2025 resource estimate. The hole included 9.14 metres averaging 472 g/t silver, 0.60 g/t gold, 0.87 percent lead and 1.10 percent zinc within a broader 25.91 metre zone averaging 215 g/t silver. Crowe explains why the extension matters and how additional drilling could expand the mineralized system.
Crowe also discusses Candelaria’s path toward a Pre-Feasibility Study, explaining the differences between a PEA, PFS and full feasibility study. He says Silver One is aiming to complete the PFS by year end before advancing further into permitting. The interview covers the heap leach pads, fresh mineralization, oxide and sulphide processing, and how deeper sulphide mineralization could potentially extend mine life.
At Phoenix Silver, Crowe discusses the 417-pound native-silver vein fragment preserved as a specimen and estimated by specific gravity to contain a very high concentration of silver. A smaller 18.7-pound specimen previously assayed 459,000 g/t silver. Silver One is using a microgravity survey to test whether dense metallic bodies could help point toward the source of the high-grade fragments. Crowe also explains why the company may consider a partner for capital-intensive porphyry copper exploration while keeping its primary focus on silver.
