Amaroq: high-grade underground drilling continues at Nalunaq (Greenland)

  • Amaroq reported additional underground drilling results from its Nalunaq Gold Mine, highlighting multiple narrow, high-grade intercepts (including 132.5 g/t Au over 0.50 m) and stating the program is designed to maintain a rolling 12–24 month production inventory drilled ahead of mining.
  • The company said it plans to relocate underground drilling to the 810 Level to test previously untested areas of the Main Vein from the planned 810 Exploration Drive.

Southern Copper: Tía María construction reaches 42% completion (Peru)

  • Southern Copper said that, as of June 30, 2026, its Tía María project had reached 42% completion and that 5,817 jobs had been created, including 1,254 filled by local workers.

NOA Lithium: drilling program update at Rio Grande brine project (Argentina)

  • NOA Lithium said two rigs are operating at its Rio Grande Project in Salta Province, with one well reported at 254 m depth and a second reaching a planned maximum depth of 504 m.
  • The company also reported Borehole Magnetic Resonance logging completed on the deeper well and said the first production well has been designed.

Q2 Metals: final winter assays at Cisco lithium project (Quebec)

  • Q2 Metals reported final winter drill results at its Cisco Lithium Project, including drill hole CS26-088 with 137.6 m grading 1.47% Li2O (including 40.6 m at 3.25% Li2O).
  • The company said its 2026 summer drill program is underway with four drill rigs, and that preparation of a Preliminary Economic Assessment is in process and expected in Fall 2026.

Energy Fuels: mid-year uranium production update (U.S.)

  • Energy Fuels said it expects finished uranium production at its White Mesa Mill to reach ~1.6 million pounds of U3O8 from January through June 2026, within its 2026 full-year guidance range of 1.5–2.5 million pounds.
  • The company also said it expects to complete its current uranium ore processing campaign by the end of June 2026 and expects to resume ore processing in Q4 2026 (subject to conditions cited in the release).

Gold-sector M&A: Orla shareholders approve Equinox merger

  • Mining Weekly reported that Orla Mining shareholders approved a plan of arrangement under which Equinox Gold will acquire Orla, with Orla shareholders to receive one Equinox share per Orla share.
