Super Copper Corp. Founder and CEO Zachary Dolesky joins Steve Yang of Natural Resource Stocks to discuss the company’s funded copper exploration strategy in Chile’s Atacama region.
Super Copper is advancing two copper projects: the flagship Cordillera Cobre Project and the Castilla Project. Cordillera Cobre has entered its maiden drilling program following years of permitting, geological work, surface sampling, and geophysical analysis.
Zachary explains how historical scout drilling encountered copper mineralization near the edge of a large geophysical anomaly. Historical core returned grades of up to 1.6 percent copper, while the company’s current program is designed to test the broader anomaly at depth.
The planned program includes approximately 12 to 13 holes ranging from roughly 500 to 600 metres in depth. The target displays characteristics associated with iron oxide copper-gold systems, commonly called IOCG deposits.
The discussion also covers the company’s Castilla Project, upcoming geophysical results, potential drilling catalysts, local infrastructure, water access, project elevation, nearby roads, community relationships, treasury position, share structure, and dilution strategy.
Super Copper recently completed a C$9.75 million financing at C$0.75 per unit. Zachary says the financing gives the company the capital required to complete its current drilling and geophysical programs without immediately returning to the market.
