Daily Mining Update: Gold Production, Lithium Results and Copper Exploration — August 15, 2026

Erdene reports higher Bayan Khundii gold production

Erdene Resource Development Corp. (TSX: ERD; MSE: ERDN; OTCQX: ERDCF) said its 50%-owned Bayan Khundii Gold Mine produced and sold 11,709 ounces of gold and 3,317 ounces of silver in the second quarter. The company reported a realized gold price of US$4,493 per ounce, gross revenue of US$53 million, operation at 94% of target throughput, and 96% gold recovery. Erdene also said it completed 11 holes totaling 2,710 metres at the Tereg Uul property, where shallow drilling intersected anomalous gold and silver along a 1.5-kilometre structure. Sigma Lithium reports record Q2 margin while discussing regulatory steps

Sigma Lithium Corporation (NASDAQ: SGML; TSXV: SGML; BVMF: S2GM34) reported US$55 million of Q2 revenue from the sale of 24,400 tonnes of lithium oxide concentrate and production of 35,400 tonnes. The company reported a 47% EBITDA margin, US$401 per tonne plant-gate cost, US$452 per tonne CIF cost, and US$668 per tonne all-in sustaining cost. Sigma also said mining and plant operations were temporarily paused beginning in the week of July 17 as it negotiated a terms-for-adjustment-of-procedures agreement with Minas Gerais authorities; the company said it expects mining to resume after the agreement is finalized, which remains a forward-looking statement. Goldgroup advances San Francisco drilling and restart study

Goldgroup Mining Inc. (TSXV: GORO; NYSE American: GORO; FSE: 55G) said it has started a 26,053-metre diamond-drilling program at the San Francisco Gold Project in Sonora, Mexico. The company’s April 30, 2026 resource estimate lists approximately 1.23 million ounces of gold in measured and indicated resources and 178,000 ounces in inferred resources. Goldgroup is also advancing a technical study covering mine planning, processing, infrastructure, capital requirements, and operating considerations for a potential restart; the release does not state a production decision or restart date. Kincora reports partner-funded copper-gold exploration in New South Wales

Kincora Copper Limited (ASX: KCC; TSXV: KCC) said partner-funded drilling continued with AngloGold Ashanti at Nevertire South in the Northern Junee-Narromine Belt, while nine holes were completed at the 100%-owned Condobolin project. Kincora reported more than 20,000 metres of partner-funded drilling since late 2024, US$5 million received toward the divestment of its Mongolian assets for total consideration of US$10 million, and a current cash balance of approximately A$12 million. Brixton closes first tranche of Langis Silver financing

Brixton Metals Corporation (TSXV: BBB; OTCQX: BBBXF) said it closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement by issuing 6,779,767 units at $0.66 per unit for gross proceeds of $4,474,646.22. Each unit included one share and one warrant; the warrants are exercisable at $0.90 until August 15, 2029, subject to the company’s stated accelerated-expiry provision. Almaden arbitration hearing moves to July 2027

Almaden Minerals Ltd. (TSXV: AMM; OTCQB: AAUAF) said the tribunal in its CPTPP arbitration proceedings with Mexico rescheduled the hearing from December 2026 to July 2027. The company said the change is intended to extend the hearing from six days to as many as 10 days to allow examination of all fact witnesses and experts. Prospectiva begins TSXV trading and outlines Brazil exploration

Prospectiva Resources Ltd. (TSXV: PSVA) said its common shares began trading on the TSX Venture Exchange on August 14. The Brazil-focused copper-and-gold explorer said it holds 35 exploration licences covering approximately 335 square kilometres in Pernambuco and Paraíba and is drilling electromagnetic conductors at its 100%-owned São Francisco Copper-Gold Project.
