The US Dollar is having a miserable year. There are several reasons why the dollar is currently weak, including tariff uncertainty, a higher likelihood of a recession, and capital outflows from the United States. While we don’t see this bear market as permanent or dangerous, we believe the decline will continue until investors sense more certainty.
There is no reason to get bullish on the Dollar from the technical standpoint either. It is in a steady decline without being oversold.
As long as the Dollar is weak, Gold will continue to shine. We expect this trend to continue.
