Natural Resource Stocks host Andy Millette speaks with Marc Henderson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Laramide Resources Ltd, about how the company is building a multi-asset uranium pipeline across Australia, the United States, and now Kazakhstan. Laramide describes its focus as the exploration and development of premium uranium assets that can supply fuel for carbon free nuclear power as global electricity systems lean harder into baseload nuclear generation.

The discussion starts with Westmoreland in northwest Queensland, one of the largest development stage uranium resources in Australia. Henderson walks through the updated mineral resource estimate and the recent mineral development licence granted by the Queensland government, which gives Laramide long term security of tenure and a clear path into advanced studies, engineering work, and eventual mining lease applications. Westmoreland already carries an indicated and inferred resource base that reflects years of drilling, and the company continues to test satellite zones and structural extensions that could add scale over time.

Andy then pushes into the United States portfolio, centered on the Crownpoint Churchrock in situ recovery uranium project in the Grants mining district of New Mexico. Laramide highlights Crownpoint Churchrock as one of the largest undeveloped ISR uranium assets in the country, backed by an existing Nuclear Regulatory Commission licence and a new federal FAST-41 designation that is meant to streamline permitting of key energy and critical mineral projects. The conversation also covers La Jara Mesa in the Grants Mineral Belt and the La Sal underground project in Utah, both development stage assets tied to the strategy of rebuilding domestic uranium supply and reducing dependence on foreign sources.

From there the interview moves to Kazakhstan and the Chu Sarysu basin, where Laramide controls a very large land position through an option agreement and is preparing a multi rig drill program of roughly fifteen thousand metres. Henderson explains why the Chu Sarysu district matters to global uranium markets, noting that Kazakhstan already accounts for more than forty percent of world uranium output and that Chu Sarysu and nearby basins host a major share of that production. The planned drilling is designed to test multiple targets across a vast land package and could eventually add a third geographic pillar alongside Australia and North America.

Throughout the conversation, Andy keeps the focus on term pricing, project economics, and timeline reality rather than headline spot moves. Henderson talks about how a sustained uranium term price in the mid eighties can already justify serious work at the development projects, why Laramide is trying to build a portfolio that works across cycles, and how recent capital raises are meant to fund the critical de-risking steps in front of Westmoreland, Crownpoint Churchrock, La Jara Mesa, and Chu Sarysu. Viewers who care about uranium developers, fuel security, and the next wave of nuclear buildout get a detailed look at one issuer trying to turn optionality into real future production.
