1) Newmont: Q2 results, steady output outlook; Red Chris approvals noted

Newmont reported it beat second-quarter profit estimates and said it expects third-quarter gold production to be broadly in line with Q2 output. Mining Weekly (Reuters) reported Q2 gold production of 1.29 million ounces versus 1.48 million ounces a year earlier, and cited operational impacts at Cadia (seismic events) and lower grades at several sites due to planned mine sequencing. The same report said Newmont has received “all critical approvals” for Red Chris in British Columbia and is discussing mining investment terms with the provincial government.

2) Soma Gold: Aurora Mine production increase approved in Colombia

Soma Gold said Colombia’s Agencia Nacional de Mineria approved an increase in authorized production at its Aurora Mine from 25 tonnes per day (TPD) to 75 TPD, with the new permiso de trabajo de obra (PTO) granted July 17, 2026 and effective immediately. Newswire (CNW) release said production is expected to increase in coming weeks to 30–40 TPD at an average expected grade of ~4.5 gpt, and referenced progress at the Escondida and el Limón mines as the company works toward its second-half 2026 goals.

3) Almonty Industries: plans to delist from TSX and ASX (tungsten)

Engineering News (Mining Weekly) reported that Almonty Industries intends to voluntarily delist from the TSX effective July 31, 2026, and from the ASX effective September 1, 2026, while continuing to trade on Nasdaq and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. The company cited low and declining trading volumes on the ASX relative to Nasdaq, as well as the cost and compliance burden of maintaining multiple listings. Engineering News

4) Adelayde Exploration: drill contractor engaged for Nevada gold project

Adelayde Exploration announced it executed a drilling services agreement with Titan Drilling to run its inaugural drill program at the 100%-owned Clayton Ridge Gold Project in Esmeralda County, Nevada. The company said drilling is expected to commence “in the coming days” and that it is fully funded to advance work programs through the second half of 2026. Newsfile
